Service Terms

For all services provided by East & Gray:

1. Estimates and Pricing

  • Estimates are based on current material and labour costs and are valid for 30 days.
  • If changes to the scope of work are made by you or unforeseen issues arise, we reserve the right to revise the estimate accordingly.
  • Fixed price quotes are inclusive of labour and materials unless stated otherwise. VAT is charged at the prevailing rate.

2. Hourly Rate Work

  • Our hourly rate includes time spent obtaining parts (if necessary), diagnostics, and performing the work. Parts may be marked up in line with standard industry practice.

3. Payment Terms

  • Invoices are due immediately upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Title to any goods supplied remains with East & Gray until full payment has been received.

4. Cancellations and Access

  • If you cancel a confirmed appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, a call-out fee may apply.
  • You must ensure safe and adequate access to your property for our engineers. Work may be paused if health and safety risks are identified.

5. Guarantees

  • We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from the completion date.
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to all parts and products used.
  • Guarantees may be voided if:
  • The installation is tampered with by a third party.
  • Our work is used outside of its intended purpose or subjected to misuse.
  • Full payment has not been made for the work.

6. Customer Responsibility

  • You are responsible for disclosing if work is to be carried out on behalf of a third party at the time of booking.
  • You are also responsible for any hazardous material, structural issues, or site conditions that could pose a risk.



Intellectual Property and Third Parties

  • All trademarks reproduced on this site that are not the property of East & Gray are acknowledged on the site.
  • From time to time, this website may include links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience and do not signify endorsement. We accept no responsibility for their content or accuracy.



Liability

  • East & Gray will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from delays due to unforeseen circumstances, supplier issues, or access problems.
  • We will only be responsible for damage caused directly by our own negligence or failure to meet reasonable standards of care.



Governing Law

Your use of this website and any dispute arising from such use is subject to the laws of England and Wales. All contracts formed between East & Gray and customers are governed by these laws and fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
